Drury University > Life at Drury > Get Involved > Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club

About the Organization
The purpose of the Drury Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club is to bring together students who have a common interest in pursuing a career as a veterinarian. The activities will help the students in the following ways:

  • Scholastically: To help students meet the educational requirements for entry to a veterinary college
  • Extracurricular: To help students meet the extracurricular demands required for acceptance into a veterinary school
  • Career: To help students understand the range of careers available to veterinarians, including the realities of a veterinary practice and other career paths
  • Community: To explore ways that pre-vet students can give back to the community through animal care and related activities
  • Social: To help students network and share their ideas with other students with a similar career goal + develop ideas for team building skills and social interaction
