Current Student Sign-Up Dates & Deadlines for 2020-21 Academic Year

We will have optional info sessions on Tuesday, January 28 at 4 p.m. and Thursday, January 30 at 11 a.m. in FSC 204. Information about 2020-21 housing and commuting will be emailed to your Drury account and available at www.drury.edu/housing starting in February.

Monday, February 10

  • Recommended “deadline” to contact the Housing office with medical accommodations or family housing requests for 2020-21 housing

Tuesday, February 11 at 4 pm

  • Self-guided tours to see some campus apartments. Meet at the fireplace in the upper-level FSC for directions and locations.

Friday, February 14 at 4 pm

  • ALL Deadlines for 1- , 2-, 3-person apartments/houses, and the 6-person house.
    • Eligible apartment-style and Midtown residents who wish to continue residency in their current 1-, 2-, 3- or 6-person unit must submit their housing contract in MyDrury by 4 p.m. The incoming tenants’ contracts are also due to Housing at this time. At least 2 of the 3 in a 3-person unit must be returning, and at least 3 people in the 6-person house must be returning. Contracts for all the beds in the unit must be filed (by returners and new residents) by 4 pm in order to qualify for residency continuation for the upcoming academic year.  
    • To apply for a new or different 1-, 2-, 3-person apartment, your online Housing Selection forms AND housing contract are due by 4 pm. (The 6-person house will not be up for selection at sign-up night—only residency continuation). One member of your roommate group must go to www.drury.edu/housing/signup to get the group on the Housing Sign-Up list to choose 1-, 2-, and/or 3-person units, but ALL roommates must fill out their own housing contract in MyDrury by the deadline. Groups are encouraged to attend the 1st Sign-Up Night to have a say in their assignment.

Monday, February 17 at 4 p.m.

  • Men who want/must live in a fraternity house should submit their housing contract in MyDrury by 4 p.m.

Thursday, February 20 at 8 p.m.

  • 1st Housing Sign-Up Night in FSC Ballroom—for those who submitted their housing contract online AND filled out the following Housing Selection forms
    • 1-person units
    • 2-person units
    • 3-person units

Friday, February 21 at noon

  • Summit Park application due. Group or individual interviews may be scheduled the week of February 24 - 27.  

Monday, March 2

  • Honors House and Student Organization house applications due.

Friday, March 13 at 4 pm

  • ALL Deadlines for 4-person non-theme apartments/houses
    • Eligible apartment-style and non-theme house residents who wish to continue residency in their current 4-bedroom unit must submit their housing contract in MyDrury by 4 p.m.. At least 2 of the current tenants must be returning to qualify for residency continuation, and the incoming tenants’ contracts are also due to Housing at this time. Contracts for all the beds in the unit must be filed (by returners and new tenants) by 4 p.m. in order to qualify for residency continuation for the upcoming academic year.  
    • To apply for a new or different 4-person apartment/non-theme house, online Housing Selection forms AND housing contract are due by 4 p.m. One member of your roommate group must go to www.drury.edu/housing/signup to get the group on the Housing Sign-Up list to choose a 4-person unit, but ALL roommates must fill out their own housing contract in MyDrury by the deadline. Thursday, March 26

  • 2nd Housing Sign-Up Night for 4-person units in two waves—FSC Ballroom—for the those who submitted their housing contract online AND filled out a 4-person Housing Selection form
    • Groups with 150 or more combined credit hours – 7 p.m.
    • Groups with 149.9 or less combined credit hours – 8:30 p.m.

Friday, March 27 by 4 p.m.

  • For those seeking Smith, Wallace or Sunderland, housing contracts are due in MyDrury

Wednesday, April 1

  • 2020-21 Exemption Request form is due in MyDrury. If you are a full-time day school student, we must have a housing contract or an approved exemption by April 1. Anyone lacking the required paperwork will get a housing hold on their account. Housing holds block registration for students. For students who initially submitted a contract to live on campus but now want to commute, this is the last day to file the exemption and avoid cancellation fees.  

Wednesday, April 15 at 4 pm

  • Summer housing contracts due in MyDrury. Summer housing will be consolidated into USuites and College Park. Students currently living in non-summer apartment locations who sign up for residency continuation for the fall may be allowed to stay in that same unit for the summer, but only if Facilities does not need to do any major deferred maintenance in that unit over the summer. However, please note that Summit Park will not be available to anyone from June 1 – July 31. Fraternity houses may also be available. More information to come!
