Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st - Chemistry for YOU
Have you ever wondered what makes a cake rise in the oven? Or how gasoline can make an engine run? What about how a snowflake gets their shape? Are you curious about how your stomach is able to digest food? If you enjoy getting messy, learning about the make-up of things, and how they behave together then this class is for you! Please bring an inquisitive mind, clothes that you are okay to get messy in and join us in our study of Chemistry.
Instructor: Shannon Yarnell

Ever thought about being a doctor or a food chemist? We will learn some chemistry by looking at how we use it in everyday life and how we can use it for a career. We will learn about matter, properties of substances, density, and how to identify substances. We will review lab safety and perform some hands-on experiments and watch some demos.
Instructor: Elicia Ligon
