About the Organization
The Drury Ambassadors is an honor organization whose members serve as liaisons between the Office of University Advancement and Drury students and alumni. The ambassadors have a distinct mission to build relationships and camaraderie among individuals throughout the Drury community. They strive to get students and alumni engaged and involved in campus programs and activities such as Convocation, Commencement, Alumni Reunion, and Homecoming. Drury Ambassadors are recognized on campus as natural leaders with effective communication skills and an outstanding dedication to service. Also acting as philanthropists of Greene County, each member serves at least twelve hours of community service annually. In addition, ambassadors are presented with numerous leadership and team building activities that allow them to grow personally and professionally. Joining The Drury Ambassadors is a philanthropic networking opportunity that you do not want to miss!
Ambassadors meets once a month on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in a location TBA.
How to Join
Students are invited to join Drury Ambassadors at the beginning of the spring semester. Eligible students include second semester freshmen, sophomores and juniors who have a 3.2 GPA or higher. All eligible students are sent an email asking them to submit an application and to provide two staff/faculty recommendations. After the application and recommendations are submitted, the student will be able to choose a time for an interview with the advisor and executive officers.
