Teacher Education Alliance Application

The Teacher Education Alliance (TEA) is a collaboration between Drury University, Evangel University, Baptist Bible College, Missouri State University, and Springfield Public Schools. The goal of the collaboration is to increase student achievement in Title I schools in the Springfield School district. The TEA is currently available to elementary, middle school, and secondary education majors during their senior year. Selected students will be assigned to a Title I school during that year for their practicum and entire 16-week student teaching experience. TEA candidates will have both a cooperating teacher and an onsite supervisor/coordinator to mentor them while assigned to a TEA partner school.
