Please tell us a brief bio of your career and how long you’ve been teaching at Drury.

I have been teaching online classes for Drury since the fall 2015. I have over 20 years of professional experience in business; management, sales, marketing and advertising. The last seven years I have been teaching full time at the college level. I am originally from Springfield, MO and now live in Boise, ID.  My MBA is from Missouri State and doctorate from Mizzou. I enjoy international travel. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and China. I have taken two different college student groups to study for a month in Paris, France. I have also taught in Xi’an, China and in 2017 I took a research trip to Santiago, Chile.

What advice would you offer to a new student beginning their course of study in the Breech School of Business?

“What you dare to dream, dare to do.” Think big and do not sell yourself short when thinking about your future career. The college experience allows you many opportunities to explore and network. It is up to you to be engaged and take advantage of these opportunities. Participate in organizations; travel abroad; talk with your professors about career options, and seek out alumni.
