Emma Bentley Ruzicka
Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations
Emma Bentley Ruzicka is a Springfield native. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and is currently pursuing a master’s in communication from Drury University.
Emma has been writing and winning grants for nearly a decade. She has previously worked for two development consulting firms, the University of Montana Foundation and the Washington University School of Medicine.
As Drury’s Director of Foundation and Corporate relations, Emma identifies, writes and edits grant proposals that advance Drury’s mission. On behalf of the institution, she cultivates relationships with non-individual funders of all stripes, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Emma’s favorite part of her job is working closely with faculty and staff to craft winning grant proposals that help make Drury programs even better.
Emma is married to the funniest guy she knows, Tony, and together they’re raising a smart and spunky daughter, Gail. Emma is an avid and eclectic reader who watches an absurd amount of comedy news.
