Favorite thing about Drury
My favorite thing about Drury is the unique experience that our students receive. Some of our students might come from small towns and after receiving their education from Drury they gain worldly perspective. From the moment a student begins here, they become part of a family that cares about their development and well-being. There are many wonderful and exciting opportunities for our students, it's up to them how far they want to go!
Favorite Springfield restaurant
Pizza House - they’ve been serving thin crust pizza for over 60 years. It’s a Springfield staple and it’s delicious!
Favorite event both on campus and in Springfield
Drury’s International Food Festival is so much fun! Our International Student Association puts on the event in the spring – it’s a night of diverse cuisine, music and dancing. First Friday Art Walk is a cool event that happens every first Friday of the month in downtown Springfield. Businesses showcase local art, music, food and entertainment. It makes for a great evening out!
Hobby (what you like to do)
I love to be outside with my family and hiking and biking are my favorites. There are so many trails in and around Springfield to explore.
I drove across the country to Alaska when I was 16!
Most interesting item in your office
My whole office is interesting- I have a ten foot tall tree, tons of plants, several crystals and even a yoga frog.
