Walter N. (Walt) George III is president of G3 Consulting, LLC in Fairway, Kansas. He retired in 2013 as president of The American Italian Pasta Company and corporate vice president of Ralcorp Holdings. He serves as corporate board director for Freshpet, Old World Spice and Seasonings, Inc., Indigo Wild, LLC and Vision Bank. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at Coker College and ‘Trustee of the’ Morris Animal Foundation.

Walt graduated from Drury with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979, majoring in sociology and communication studies. He completed his education with an MBA from Rockhurst University. While at Drury, Walt was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. A past member of the Breech Advisory Board, he received a Drury Distinguished Alumni Award in 2010.

Walt’s family has a long tradition of ties to Drury starting with his great grandfather, Joseph Henry George, who served as Drury’s 5th president in the early 1900s. Other Drury relatives include mother, Mary George ’47; brother, Joseph George ’72; and brother, Francis George ’80.

Walt and his wife, Susan (Robison) George ’80, live in Fairway, Kansas. They have two adult children, a daughter, Lindsey (George) Vickery ’04, and a son, Chip.
