Lambda Chi Alpha is a Brotherhood built on human vision, need, understanding, idealism, and love. Above all, it is built on a series of honest friendships.
Membership experience is not limited to the collegiate years, but is a lifelong journey.
Lambda Chi Alpha internationally is the third largest collegiate fraternity, and Theta-Sigma at Drury is one of Lambda Chi Alpha’s oldest chapters. Their more than 1,200 initiated brothers have included men of various backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious faiths. Lambda Chi Alpha has been the cutting edge fraternity locally and nationally. In 1972, it became the first national fraternity to abolish pledgeships; in 1990, the first to create a risk management officer in each chapter.
Since 1993, Lambda Chi chapters everywhere have participated in the North American Food Drive, the fraternity’s official international philanthropy. In 1999, Lambda Chi Alpha introduced Impact Leadership training, a progressive, multi-layered leadership training program for its undergraduate members.
Building on accomplishments on the local and international levels, the chapter continues to enhance the college experience of its members, and provide them with a life-long support network, as it has done from its earliest days at Drury.
