Kappa Alpha is one of four national fraternities housed at Drury University. Members of Drury's Kappa Alpha chapter have the opportunity to live in the fraternity's impressive $1.7 million mansion.
The house is located at 1340 North Robberson Ave in part of a "Fraternity Quad." Living space in the house total more than 13,600 square feet, including a 1,000 square foot recreation room equipped with a 52" big screen, surround sound, three leather couches, kitchen, and bar.
The Kappa Alpha mansion houses up to 28 brothers. Each suite has its own bathroom and living room with furniture provided.
The most distinguishing feature of the KA mansion is the basement. Each fraternity has its own "party room," but none is as well known as the KA basement. The basement features a DJ booth and special lighting
Greek chapters at Drury have a rich tradition, distinctive history, and unique ideals. Some of the things that make fraternity life so great are the diverse members in each of the chapters, the leadership opportunities available and the positive social events that chapters sponsor..
