Heifer International Global Gateway Village

Each semester, the Office of Community Outreach and Leadership Development offers an overnight immersion experience at Heifer International’s ranch in Perryville, Arkansas. The Global Gateway Village program “creates an existence in which nothing-shelter, food, water, or cooking fuel – can be taken for granted." By going on this overnight trip, you can learn about sustainable solutions to global hunger, poverty, and environmental degradation. This experience is Passport approved and counts towards the Leadership Drury Certificate.

Funding is provided by SGA, so the student cost is only $10 and includes transportation, accommodation, and most food. The dates or the Spring Heifer trip are to be announced at a later date.

Registration will be open in the spring semester.
