Elevate: Rise Up and Lead
Elevate is Drury's newest intensive leadership program. It is designed to shape freshmen and sophomore students to change the leadership of student organizations at Drury. Drury upperclassmen will be facilitating the sessions and passing along valuable knowledge to participating students. Participants will not only walk away with invaluable experiences, but friendships and connections that will continue throughout their collegiate experience and beyond.
How It Works
A group of 32 freshmen and sophomore students will be accepted into the program. There will be 5 interactive and engaging sessions in the Spring semester, on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 8:00PM. There will also be a 6th session devoted to an overnight retreat that includes a high ropes course and is facilitated partly by professional staff and partly by Elevate facilitators. Participants will be required to attend all of the sessions including the entire retreat to participate. These dates are listed below:
Dates: January 23, January 30, February 6, February 13, February 20
Overnight Retreat: February 23- 24 at Camp Windermere
Time: All sessions will be held from 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: Hoblit Suite located in the Freeman Panhellenic building.
Cost: Absolutely FREE

They will have the opportunity to experience a high and low ropes course with all expenses paid. Facilitators will gain hands on leadership experience and the invaluable skills needed to facilitate. They will have the opportunity to experience a high and low ropes course with all expenses paid, and it is our hope that facilitators will leave a lasting impression on the Drury campus. Their efforts will have a significant and very positive impact on the leadership of our student organizations. Facilitator applications are closed for the 2019 program.
