Free Tutoring Resources (Available Fall/Spring Only)
Location: Olin Library, Room 204 (to the right after you walk up the stairs)
When: Sunday: 6-9pm, Monday: 6-9pm, Tuesday: 6-9pm, Wednesday: 2-5pm, Thursday: 6-9pm
What: If you are in need of help brainstorming for paper ideas or would like someone to edit your paper, visit the Writing Center. They do ask that you stay while they look over your paper and you should bring a copy of the assignment too! Visit the Writing Center's website for more information.
Speech Communication Center
Location: Shewmaker Hall, Room 207
What: Help with developing strategies for overcoming fear of public speaking, constructing useful messages, and delivering successful speeches

When: Tuesdays from 3:30 – 5 p.m. and 8:10 - 9:30 p.m.; Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5 p.m. and 8:10 - 9:30 p.m.
What: Tutors provide help in understanding mathematical concepts for all math classes.
Location: American Chemical Society (ACS) Office, Trustee Science Center, Room 218
When: Monday – Thursday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Breech Room 103
When: Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

TUTORS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE
If you need a tutor in a subject not mentioned above, contact Chip Parker, Director of Student Success in FSC 106, (417) 873-7504 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If tutors are available for your subject she will give you their name and contact information. It is then your responsibility to contact those individuals. Each tutor sets his/her own fee.
If you are interested being a tutor please fill out the Tutor Information Sheet and return to Chip Parker. It is then your responsibility to set fees and schedule times and locations to provide tutoring services.
