About the Thayer Campus

Helping students prepare for lives and careers in the 21st Century

The CCPS Thayer campus serves Thayer and the surrounding communities in Missouri and Arkansas. Students can pursue numerous associate degree programs and/or complete their general education requirements at the Thayer campus for other degree programs. 

Thayer is approximately 135 miles southeast of Springfield on US Highway 63. Classes are held at the Thayer High School The Thayer campus opened in the spring of 2002 with an offering of nine classes. Today, the Thayer Campus offers 16 classes as well as academic advising, financial aid assistance, and career counseling.
