Important Technology Information for Students
Welcome to Drury University. As a new student there are many questions you have as you enter this important chapter in your life. Our goal is to offer you some important information on technology here at Drury as well as answer any questions you may have related to the use of technology (i.e. wireless access, Free Microsoft Office, computer services offered, FAQs, where to go for help, and much more).
Technology Services Help Desk Office Hours and Support Options for Students:
Technical Support: If you have a computer or technology related problem or question, contact our help desk office at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone (417) 873-7300.
Walk-In Help Desk Office Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Location: Our help desk office is now located on the main floor in the Olin Library.
Phone Support Hours: Fall and Spring Semesters Hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday noon to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 - 4 p.m.
What if I have Account Login Problems?
If you are not able to login into your Email account, MyDrury or Moodle then please contact our help desk for assistance at email@example.com or call us at (417) 873-7300.
Free Microsoft Office and 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage now included with your Student Office 365 Email Account:
Your Office 365 email now includes the Microsoft Office suite free of charge. You will now be able to work in the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and much more. You can install your Microsoft Office software on up to 5 compatible PCs and Macs, plus 5 tablets (including iPad!) including smartphones. Personal files can be saved online in your 1TB OneDrive included with the Office 365 so it can be accessed no matter which device is being used.
How do I install the Free Microsoft Office?
To install your free Microsoft, just login into your Drury email account and then click on Office365 on the top left. You should see a button titled Install Office 365.

How do I connect my computer or device to Drury’s wireless network?
Computer or Smartphone Wireless Access: We have wireless connection guides available online on our support link Drury Wireless Network located on this webpage.
Streaming or Gaming Device Wireless: We now have a new wireless network Internet_Of_Things dedicated for gaming devices, smart TVs, DVRs and other wireless devices that cannot authenticate on our Panthers network. You will need to register your device before it can access this network. More information on how to register your devices.
Wireless Technical Support: If you having problems with connecting our wireless network then feel free to bring your computer or phone to our help desk office or call us at (417) 873-7300.
Wireless Coverage Areas: All student housing and most of the campus has wireless coverage except for a few isolated areas near the edge of the campus. and between areas
How do I connect my computer or device to our room network port?
Ethernet: Most of our student housing will have wired connections to the campus network one connection per occupant. Please contact us to verify if your room has a network or if your port is not working.
How do I print wireless from my smartphone or my personal computer to a hall residence or lab area printer?
We now offer wireless printing from your personal computers, tablets, and phones (from on-campus) to a specific lab or area printer. Students can now submit print requests wirelessly and then print the documents at any printer listed on our wireless printer list shown below.
