How to find your Office 365 POP / IMAP / SMTP server settings

We recommend that you setup your email clients using exchange since it is the best method of syncing your emails including your contacts and calendars. Most of your smartphones, Microsoft Outlook and Mac Mail have Exchange as an option for accessing your email. Unfortunately there are email clients such Thunderbird, Outlook Expreess and others that do not support the exchange mode for your Office 365 email and so you will want to know the POP3, IMAP, or SMTP settings. Following are the instructions for determining what those settings are for your account.

  1. Log in to your account via the email link at

  2. Once logged in, click Options in the upper right hand corner and choose "See All Options"

  3. In the Account Information window, click "Settings for POP, IMAP, and SMTP access...â?? and a window will pop up with all the server, port, and security settings you need. If the window does not pop up, make sure you do not have any popup blockers preventing it.
