Why Study Abroad?
Study abroad is one of the most exciting opportunities available to Drury students and is described by many as the experience of a lifetime. Study abroad is an option for all Drury students and is a degree requirement for Breech School of Business, Hammons School of Architecture, and Contemporary European Studies students. Students that would like to participate in a semester study abroad typically do so during their junior year. Participation in short-term programs (winter or summer terms) are available to students as early as their freshman year.
Study abroad is also affordable! Your financial aid and scholarships can apply toward certain semester study abroad programs. The Office for International Programs also awards additional study abroad scholarships for semester and short-term programs. These scholarships are very limited, so we suggest applying as soon as possible!
The decision to study abroad takes careful consideration and planning. Details on programs, passport and visa information, scholarships, and a wide variety of other details are available on this website and in the Office for International Programs, FSC 203. After reviewing the website, students should call to make an appointment with Michael Thomas or Tom Russo as early as possible to find the program best suited to their personal, academic, and career goals.
