Drop/Add Schedules

The normal load for all students is 12 to 17 hours each semester; however, if you are registered for as few as 12 hours, you will be considered a full-time student. All work for which you are registered counts as a part of your course load.

Students can make schedule changes through MyDrury until the semester begins.

Step 1: Go to MyDrury.

Step 2: Enter your Username and Password and click Login.

Step 3: Click on the Student Tab.

Step 4: Click on Course Schedules (Links located on the left side of the page).

Step 5: Click on Course Search.

Step 6: To Add A Course: Using the drop down menu options, please select the Department and Course Number to search for a specific course. Once you find the desired course in the schedule, click Add next to the course selection.

Step 7: To Drop A Course: From the My Schedule screen, click on DROP next to the course. You are asked to confirm the drop. Simply select Confirm and the course is dropped (removed from your schedule).

Step 8: Click on View My Schedule to review the changes you have made.

A change in your registration after the semester begins can only be made by filing an official drop/add form in the office of the registrar. If you wish to drop a class, it is important that the drop/add form be filed with the registrar as soon as this decision is made. Failure to officially drop a class you are not attending will result in a grade of F for the course. Failure to officially add a class you are attending will result in no credit.

Responsibility for drop and add belong solely to the student. A verbal indication of intent to drop given to either a faculty member or to the registrar’s office is insufficient; the correct drop and add form must be submitted to the registrar.
