Politics and Government Minor
Students often minor in Political Science to compliment their academic major and career goals. For example, an economics major needs to understand the connection between the global economy and politics, and thus minors in Politics and Government. A total of 21 credit hours in Political Science courses are necessary to complete the minor.
All prerequisites must be completed prior to enrollment in the following courses. Refer to the course descriptions of each course below for prerequisites.
PLSC 101: Government and Politics in the United States (3 hrs)
PLSC 151: Introduction to Comparative Politics (3 hrs)
PLSC 152: Introduction to International Relations (3 hrs)
PLSC 380: Western Political Thought (3 hrs)
Choose three PLSC elective courses (9 hours).
