Parent Council Application

The Parent Council is a way for you to stay involved with Drury University and be a representative in your community during your student's college years. The Parent Council consists of 20 parents/families, representing all four undergraduate classes.

What is our mission?

Our mission is to provide opportunities for parents to become involved in the university and improve the quality of education for all students.

Opportunities include:

  • Volunteer during Family Day in October
  • Host or help with events
  • Admission recruiting
  • Student mentoring program
  • Speak with prospective/new parents
  • Contribute to the Parents Fund and encourage other parents to participate
  • Serve as a leadership resource for other Drury parents

The Parent Council will meet three times per year.

Parent Council members will be determined through an application process. We encourage parents from all areas and backgrounds to apply.

Application deadline is September 15.
