About the CCPS Psychology Program

The Behavioral Sciences Department Program at the College of Continuing Professional Studies offers a bachelors of science in psychology. Psychology is the science that deals with mental processes and behavior. A psychology degree opens doors to a wide variety of careers in such fields as counseling, social work, or education. PSYC 101: Introduction to Psychology is a prerequisite for most psychology courses.

In addition to the course offerings, departmental majors are encouraged to work in community, social and/or correctional agencies where they can apply classroom knowledge to real problems.
