What is RE/BOOT?

RE/BOOT is a week-long technical training camp for Drury students. Students will learn and participate in hands-on activities covering such topics as:

  • Dynamics of the Web
  • Basic HTML
  • Introduction to Dreamweaver
  • Introduction to Photoshop CS3
  • Human-centric Design
  • Writing for the Web

The week will culminate with a project that allows students to apply the skills they've learned throughout RE/BOOT.

What is included?

RE/BOOT students will receive:

  • A week of hands-on training focused primarily on the major aspects of Web design
  • Breakfast and lunch each day of the camp
  • A truly incredible T-shirt to show off to friends
  • Certificate of completion

Successful students will also gain preferred status for tech jobs on campus for the upcoming semester. Additionally, fun is a mandatory element of RE/BOOT.

What if I'm going to live on campus?

Successful applicants who will be living on Drury University’s campus for the 2009 fall semester will have the opportunity to move in on Sunday, August 16 to attend RE/BOOT.

How do I apply?

Submit the RE/BOOT Application online. The application deadline is Friday, July 17, 2009. Successful applicants will be contacted after the application deadline with additional information.
