Drury Student Volunteer Service Hours

2006-2007 Community Outreach Center Student Volunteer Hours

Student volunteer hours through Drury's Community Outreach Center are tracked annually, and help paint a picture of the dramatic impact Drury has on the community. Here are the 2007-2008 numbers.

  • One time per year for at least two hours: Approximately 1,000 students
  • One time per semester for at least two hours: 287 students
  • One time per week for at least one hour: 120 students
  • Summit Park Residents: 40 students at 30 hours per year
  • Sunderland Hall LLCs: 128 students at 4 hours per year

Total hours of volunteer service through the Community Outreach Center:

Approximately 8,700 hours

*Please note: These hours do not include the contributions made by Drury faculty and staff, or students who volunteer through student organizations, churches, with their families, or on "personal time."
