About the Club
Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society in History, was organized at Drury University on Dec 11, 1948. Since that time, Phi Alpha Theta has grown to more than 820 chapters in fifty states. It is the largest, in number of chapters, of the accredited honor societies holding membership in the Association of College Honor Societies.
The purpose of Phi Alpha Theta is to acknowledge the dedication of the history students by recognizing them as a part of the honor society at Drury. At the same time we also want to keep the organization open to all students, hence the History Club aspect which has no requirements for membership.
Meetings
Phi Alpha Theta meets once a month in the Olin Room in the library.
How to Join
