About the Edward Jones Minority Scholarship Program
With the support of Edward Jones, a financial services company based in St. Louis, the Edward Jones Minority Scholarship Program offers support for ten minority students from each incoming class of freshmen. Students taking part in the program earn a $10,000 scholarship and pursue a minor in Entrepreneurship. In addition, they take part in opportunities for professional growth and networking in he Springfield area, including lectures and field trips to destinations throughout Missouri.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP
Submit the following information to the Drury University Admission Office. Deadline: February 1, 2010
First name, middle initial, last name, high school name (other necessary information will be taken from your completed Drury application)
Respond to one of the two essay questions with no more than 250 words.
1. Describe an entrepreneurial venture that you have participated in. (Don't worry about how small it might have been!) What were your triumphs and/or setbacks? What did you learn about yourself from this experience? How has the experience changed your outlook for the future?
2. As you look toward your future, how does entrepreneurship fit into your goals? How will you make the world a better place through your entrepreneurial experience? Be specific in your answers.
