M.Ed. with Emphasis in Human Services

The Master in Education with Emphasis in Human Services program was originally developed to meet the needs of persons teaching in nursing schools associated with local hospitals. Such persons did not seek Missouri Teacher Certification, but wanted to improve their skills as instructors, leaders, and communicators.

Today, the Human Services program attracts higher education administrators, academic and financial aid advisors, and student services personnel as well as youth ministers, health and human services personnel, and others who seek a program of study tailored to their unique professional needs, but are not necessarily seeking teacher certification.
