M.Ed. with Emphasis in Middle School Education

The Master in Education with Emphasis in Middle School Education program is designed for persons who are either seeking their initial Missouri Teacher Certification as post-baccalaureate degree students or for those who already have teacher certification and wish to add an endorsement to teach grades 5-9. The Middle School Education program of study leads to teacher certification to teach middle school English, mathematics, science or social studies.

Additionally, a Troops to Teachers option developed in coordination with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education provides an accelerated middle school teacher certification program for former military service members.
