Certificate in Instructional Mathematics K-8

Offered by the School of Education and Child Development, the Certificate in Instructional Mathematics K-8 program is designed to improve the content knowledge and instructional skills of persons who teach mathematics to children in grades K-8 and who already have Missouri Teacher Certification and/or a Masters in Education degree. The program provides the practical, hands-on experience necessary for teachers to excel in mathematics instruction for grades K-8.

The Certificate in Instructional Mathematics K-8 is 18 credit hours and earned entirely online.

As the host institution for the Missouri Mathematics Academy, Drury University is committed to improving student performance in mathematics through professional development opportunities for teachers, such as the Certificate in Instructional Mathematics K-8 program.
