SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Oct. 4, 2010 — The Drury University Department of Theatre will open its 2010-2011 season with The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter. Directed by George Cron, the first performance will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre inside the Breech School of Business.
A man with a mysterious past lives in a rundown boarding house in an English seaside town. Two sinister strangers arrive and turn Stanley’s birthday party into a nightmare. This play is intended for mature audiences.
The productions will run October 6-9 at 8 p.m. with a matinee performance on Oct. 9 at 2 p.m.
