SPRINGFIELD, Mo., — Lynn Chipperfield was elected as the new Chairman of Drury’s Board of Trustees at the May 2010 board meeting. Chipperfield has served on the Drury Board of Trustees since 2002.
A 1973 Drury graduate, Chipperfield takes over for John Beuerlein who is stepping down as chairman after a four-year term. Beuerlein, a Drury trustee since 1991, will remain on the board.
Chipperfield graduated from Drury in 1973 and from Washington University School of Law in 1977. He retired in 2008 after a career with Furniture Brands International in St. Louis, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, and he is now engaged in numerous volunteer and non-profit interests.
