SPRINGFIELD , Mo., April 13, 2009 — Drury University's College of Graduate and Continuing Studies and the Breech School of Business Administration will begin offering a Fast Track Master of Business Administration beginning in the fall of 2009.

The Fast Track M.B.A. is designed for adult professionals and can be completed in just one year.

“We've seen an enormous increase in demand for our MBA program, and we want to do what we can to serve this demand for individuals in the Springfield community,” says Dr. John Taylor, Drury's MBA Director. “Our Fast Track MBA is one way to accomplish this.”

Some of the Fast Track MBA highlights:

  • Ten courses taught by Drury faculty that focus on leadership, strategic thought, teamwork and intercultural competence.
  • A mentorship program that offers opportunities for networking and career/professional development.
  • A curriculum that students will complete with a cohort of peers who will work together to successfully complete the program.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and will be evaluated on things like grade point average, standardized test scores and letters of recommendation. Students that haven't completed the prerequisite business courses as undergraduates can complete those requirements in a one-month summer boot camp that fulfills all of the prerequisites.
