Drury is making great strides towards creating a more sustainable campus and world through our recycling program. Be sure to think twice before you throw something away; you may be able to recycle it!
What does Drury accept?

Where can you recycle? There are numerous indoor and outdoor bins around Drury campus, which collect various recyclable materials. Each residence hall is equipped with aluminum, paper, plastic, and glass recycling bins (as is the community center in College Park), which make recycling a breeze for on campus students. In addition, the Central Street/Drury University Recycling Center is located on the corner of Central Street and Summit Avenue just south of the O'Reilly Family Event Center. This facility consists of large dumpsters and accepts cardboard, glass, aluminum, tin, plastic, and paper products. The Think Green office found on the 2nd floor of the TSC accepts rechargeable batteries, cell phones, printer cartridges, toner cartridges, and clothing on Friday afternoons from 12pm-2pm. Your corrugated cardboard can be recycled in the Cardboard Recycling Dumpsters located behind the Findlay Student Center and the Hammons School of Architecture. Compact fluorescent light bulbs recycling centers are located in FSC, Springfield Hall, and College Park community center. | |
