Presented by Professor Robert Weddle, Hammonds School of Architecture, Drury University . These two presentations will investigate architecture and urban design as a way of "reading" cities and better understanding their histories and cultures. The presentations will draw upon examples of cities and other environments from around the world.

This discussion will review the perspectives of Norman Vincent Peale (as reflected in The Power of Positive Thinking ) and M.E.P. Seligman; comparing and contrasting their points of view. Presented by Robert Westenberg, professor of theatre , Drury University . Dr. Westenberg will share his experiences working in professional theatre in New York and from his acting career. He will share the events that formed his decision to leave the theatre and become a teacher.
