Tuesday, August 13

During the day:   Move in/check in with Security Office, pick up room key and welcome gift bag, and make your Drury ID card
- Findlay Student Center (FSC), Lower Level, Room 101
7 p.m.   Welcome dinner – First Event of Orientation
- Meet in the lower level of the Findlay Student Center (FSC) by the bookstore
     

Wednesday, August 14

8:15 - 9 a.m.   Breakfast available
- Down Under Lounge, Findlay Student Center (FSC), Lower Level
8:15 - 9 a.m.   Photo IDs in Security Office
- FSC 101, Lower Level
9 - 9:30 a.m.   Formal welcome, introductions, schedules
- Down Under Lounge, FSC, Lower Level
9:30 - 10:15 a.m.   Break out session to fill out Drury forms
a. All J-1 Exchange students meet with Michael Thomas (Diversity Center)
b. All F-1 Traditional day and CCPS students meet with Julie Hockensmith (FSC 204)
c.  All SACM students meet with Beth Nichols (Down Under Lounge)
10:15 - 11:15 a.m.   Immigration Information Session
Bring your passport, I-20 or DS-2019, and I-94 to this session

11:15 - 11:30 a.m.   Academic Ethics Session: How to Be Successful at Drury University

Bring your health forms, immunization records to submit to the campus nurse

1:30 - 3:30 p.m.   Business Office to make payments and/or set up payment plan

3:30 - 5:45 p.m.   Free Time
6 p.m.   Depart for dinner at Lamberts followed by shopping trip to Wal-Mart
Be sure to bring your shopping list and method of payment for purchases
- Meet in the lower level of the FSC , by the bookstore
     

Thursday, August 15

8:15 - 9 a.m.   Breakfast available
- Hoblit Suite, Freeman Hall
9 a.m. - Noon   Placement Exam - for students who have not submitted an official TOEFL or IELTS score during the Admission process
- Springfield Hall Lab A, 2nd Floor
9 a.m. - Noon   OPTIONAL: Cell Phone Trip to the Sprint store to assist students who need to purchase a       
cell phone or to Prodigy Electronics to buy SIM cards
(This is an optional trip for students who do not need  to take the placement exam)
- Students leave from Hoblit Suite
Noon   Lunch at the Campus Exchange (CX)
Introduce SPI Program

1:15 - 1:45 p.m.   Computer Services Help Desk- MyDrury, set up email accounts, Wi-Fi for your computers (bring your laptop)

2 - 2:45 p.m.   Lab A: US Tax Forms – Preparation for 2012 tax returns
Lab B: US Bank Visit– Set up checking account, debit card, wire transfer

2:45 - 3:30 p.m.   Lab A: US Tax Forms – Preparation for 2012 tax returns
Lab B: US Bank Visit– Set up checking account, debit card, wire transfer
- Springfield Hall, 2nd Floor These lab sessions will rotate in order to accommodate our students. The Tax lab is required of all students.  The Bank lab is for students who need to open a bank account for their money/cash/or wire transfer
3:30 p.m.   Visit US Bank to deposit money - for those who brought cash to deposit
Bring your passport and money to deposit
- Van will leave in front of  Springfield Hall
7 p.m.   Dinner and Downtown Tour of Springfield
- Meet in the circle drive in front of Findlay Student Center (FSC)
     

Friday, August 16

8 a.m. - Noon   Move-in for all new domestic students

9 - 10 a.m.   Breakfast available

10 - 10:30 a.m.   Advising and Registration for student who will attend EAP classes their first semester
- Burnham Hall, 2nd Floor, Room 205
10:30 a.m. - Noon   Traditional Undergraduate Academic Advising and Registration for the Fall Semester (Exchange students are not required to attend this meeting)
- Burnham Hall, 2nd Floor, Room 203 CCPS and/orPost Bac students are dismissed to work with their academic advisor MBA Students are dismissed to prepare for departure for MBA Live Orientation All other Master degree students are dismissed for Graduate Academic Advising and Registration
- Graduate Office, Shumaker Communication Center, Room 101
Noon - 1 p.m.   Lunch Meeting with O leaders: Schedules for the all-school new student orientation
