Fall 2013 Move-In Dates

New Domestic Student Move-In Day
Friday, August 16, 2013

New freshmen check in at their residence hall lobby anytime between 8a.m. - noon to get keys.  Once checked in, vehicles can be driven down Drury Lane to the Circle for help with unloading.  Students who arrive after noon should check in at the Safety & Security Office (Findlay Student Center 101).  Anyone who arrives after 5 p.m. should call the 24-hour security officer to request help getting keys. Security's phone number is 417-873-7911.

Residence hall students will get their required move-in paperwork from the staff upon check-in or find it in their rooms.

Earliest Move-In Day for New International Students
8 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2013

All new international students should arrange their arrival with Drury’s International Student Life office. ISO will ensure each student collects his/her keys in the Safety & Security Office (Findlay Student Center 101) and finds his/her building and room. Residence hall students will find required paperwork in their rooms. Apartment-style residents will have all their required paperwork sent to their Drury e-mail addresses.

Students who arrive in Springfield before 8 a.m. on August 12 will need to arrange hotel accommodations.

Returning Student Move-In Day
Saturday, August 17, 2013

Returning students should check in at the Safety & Security Office (FSC 101) between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday. An officer will be working in the office at that time to issue keys. If you arrive after 5 p.m. your keys will still be available in Security; however, you will most likely need to call an officer to meet you at the office. The 24-hour Security phone number is 417-873-7911.
