International Studies Abroad

Information about the ISA program

For over twenty years, International Studies Abroad (ISA) has provided college students in the United States and Canada the opportunity to explore the world. ISA offers a wide variety of study abroad programs at accredited schools and universities in Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, France, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, and Spain. In the age of globalization, it is becoming increasingly important to gain an intimate understanding of another culture. As a leader in international education, ISA is dedicated to providing university student s with the opportunity to discover and enjoy a way of life different from their own.

Most program locations have an on-site ISA office with a full-time resident staff, where students have access to free computers, internet, and wireless internet. The on-site offices offer students a source of security while abroad, by serving as a common meeting place and resource center.

ISA program activities enhance the participants’ experience abroad. Program orientations, home stays with local families, excursions to sites of historical, cultural, and ecological interest, language exchanges, program orientations, and cultural activities reinforce the material that the students learn in the classroom. ISA students are required to maintain full-time student status throughout their program, and additional programming is planned for the time when students are not in class. Over twenty years of experience have taught us that emphasizing academics and cultural immersion is the ideal way for students to maximize their education while abroad.

To learn more about ISA and their study abroad programs, please visit their website at www.studiesabroad.com, or email ISA at: isa@studiesabroad.com.

Please Note: To participate in an ISA study abroad program, students would have to take a leave of absence from Drury and scholarships and financial aid from Drury would not apply.
