Important Passport Information for Drury Students

Plan ahead to obtain your passport before traveling abroad

One thing all students must consider when thinking about traveling abroad is obtaining or renewing their passport. There are several places that one can get their passport. The easiest way is to make an appointment at your local post office. Getting a passport picture is as easy as stopping by your local Walgreen’s or Kinko’s, which both have areas set aside for taking passport photos.

Students must remember that it can often take a good amount of time to apply, send out for, and receive their passport so it is advised to plan ahead. Currently it is taking 3 to 6 weeks to process a new passport.

By visiting this U.S. Department of State web page, you will have access to a great reference to refer to when seeking when, where, and how you can go about obtaining or renewing your passport.
