Practicum

All students enrolled in EDUC 201 Teacher Aide are required to have a current background clearance on file with the School of Education & Child Development. Practicum students are not placed until the background clearance is received. To complete the background check process, please follow the steps below:

  • Submit $10 online registration at www.dhss.mo.gov/FCSR (Click on “Online Registration”)
  • If you are unable to pay online, click “Online Registration” then “FCSR Registration” then “Worker Registration Form” and mail your application and $9 payment to the following address:

    Fax: (417) 873-7269

  • Print receipt verifying you are in the system and e-mail, fax, or send to Kelly Doel at the address above
  • Once the background check has been completed the results will be mailed to the student and the School of Education & Child Development
