Physics Major

The physics major stresses problem solving, beginning with first principles. Whether you ultimately decide to become a physicist, engineer, lawyer, or cardiologist, a degree in physics will have lain a solid educational foundation for you to build on. By the very nature of the discipline, physicists are generalists at heart, relying on their broad understanding of matter at its most elemental level to approach any problem with sure footing and critical insight.
