Allison Steiner received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she studied with Lucie Robert. She has performed in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and with the American Symphony Orchestra on their Far East tour. While in New York City, she performed in Broadway's Miss Saigon as well as several off-Broadway shows. She received her Master of Science with concentration in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University and completed Long-Term Teacher Training for the Suzuki Method at the Hartt School of Music with Teri Einfeldt. In 2007 and 2011 Allison participated in the Starling-Delay Symposium for Violin Studies at the Juilliard School. She is a member of the Springfield Symphony and is first violinist in the string quartet, St. Mark's Square.
