How to Request Transcripts

Frequently Asked Questions

Transcripts of credit will be issued by the office of the registrar to all present and former students subject to certain conditions. In order to assure the student that records are confidential, Drury University issues official transcripts only upon written authorization of the student. Financial obligations to the college must be satisfied.

Do I need an official or an unofficial copy?

When sending a transcript to a school, organization, or employer, an official copy is optimal. Upon request, an official copy can be sealed and enclosed in a signed envelope. When requesting for personal use, an unofficial copy will suffice.

Currently enrolled students can access and print an unofficial (student copy) transcript through MyDrury.

Step 1: Go to MyDrury.
Step 2: Enter your Username and Password and click Login.
Step 3: Click on the Student Tab.
Step 4: Click on Unofficial Transcript (links located on the left side of the page).
Step 5: Using the drop down menu, select the Division you would like to view.

How do I request an official transcript?

Official transcripts can be ordered in one of three ways:

Online:
Drury University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web.
Ordering online allows you the flexibility of requesting your official transcript to be sent by:

  1. PDF format via email.
  2. Mailed to recipient.
  3. Picked up in the Registrar’s Office.

Please note: If you are ordering a transcript to be sent to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), you must select to have the transcript mailed. DESE will not accept PDF transcripts. If you are ordering a transcript to be sent to the Drury School of Education and Child Development office, you must also select to have the transcript mailed.

The cost to order through the NSC website is $8 per transcript

You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.

What will prevent my transcript request from being processed?

Drury University will not release transcripts to a student who has an unpaid balance in their DU account. This includes defaults on Perkins or National Direct Student Loans. It is the student's responsibility to remove outstanding balances before submitting a transcript request. If a transcript was not released due to outstanding balances on the student's DU account, it is the student's responsibility to resubmit the transcript request once the balance has been paid.
