RA/CA Selection Process

So you wanna be an RA/CA?

Untitled Document

Resident Assistants, (RA), and Community Assistants, (CA), serve as a liaison between the staff, faculty, and residents. The RA/CA is a resource person for supplies, work orders, and occasional referrals for students who may be experiencing difficulties or problems at school. An RA/CA is available 24 hours a day to assist residents in a wide variety of situations. RAs and CAs strive to create a community within their residence as well as an environment that promotes integrity, a cooperative spirit, respect for others, and one that allows freedom of academic pursuits.

During the selection process, the Residence Life staff is looking for those who are enthusiastic, responsible, and self motivated. If this applies to you, you are encouraged to apply. Download application, essay prompt, and FAQ documents at the bottom of this page.

Should you have any questions regarding the RA/CA selection process please email RLife@drury.edu or stop by the Student Life Office in FSC 108.
