
A Springfield native, Gale Boutwell became registrar in 1978. She earned her bachelor's degree in English in 1968 and her master's in education in 1977, both from Drury. In 1972, Gale began working at Drury as administrative assistant to the director of teacher education. In her current position, she oversees all aspects of the registrar's office from student registration to graduation. Gale has served on several community foundations and boards. She is an avid supporter of Greene County 4-H and other youth and equine activity programs. On campus, Gale is the source for historical data relating to registration, attrition and trends in records management.
