Dr. Susan Davis is an assistant professor in the School of Education and Child Development at Drury University.  She teaches Reading Methods, American School Systems, and Educational Psychology. 

Before coming to Drury University, Dr. Davis taught Children’s Literature, Foundations of Reading, Early Literacy, Language Arts and Social Studies methods, Curriculum Development, Effective Teaching Strategies, Classroom Management, and supervised students during field experiences and internship at Arkansas State University.  Prior to that, she served as a classroom teacher in grades kindergarten and 4th.   

Dr. Susan Davis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.
