We’d love to share more about your professional success with our current and future students – please describe your career path to this point as well as your current profession:
I have always been interested in the way things work- from a Building’s electrical systems to economies and international markets. Drury was able to blend my interest in Architecture with my interest in Business and make it apart of my MBA coursework. Getting my MBA was always a goal of mine; and now that I have it, unexpected doors within my industry are opening up to me with amazing opportunities.
How did your experiences in the Breech School of Business MBA prepare you for or enhance your professional career?
Even during my MBA course work, I noticed that upper level management and senior personnel at my company were more interested in exposing me to new tasks and challenges. Each skill set gained within my professional and educational background just increases my chances for greater success.
Were there any specific courses that were especially useful to you?
I really enjoy implementing ideals and skills from what I learned through my coursework into daily life or professional work. I would have to say that my accounting and finance classes have been especially useful.
Do you have any favorite memories of your time in the Breech MBA program?
With out a doubt, the trip to Beijing during the International Markets and Globalization course. The culture experienced and learning that took place during that trip will not be forgotten.
What advice would you offer to a new student beginning the Breech School of Business MBA program?
Once immersed in the MBA program at Drury, you will see that the benefits and personal/professional advances out way many obstacles that may come up. This realization allows for the true enjoyment of learning to take place!
