Experience Education & Childhood Development
Learning at Drury is something you do. It's hands-on, up-close, and knee-deep active. Here's some of what makes us different:
- Gain in-the-classroom experience starting for your first semester thanks to Drury's partnership with Yale University and programs in neighborhood schools. You'll learn from veteran teachers while getting the chance to make a difference
- Join Chocolate University and teach sustainable business to public school students. Students from Drury and local high schools traveled to Tanzania as part of this project
- Volunteer at Hem Sheela Model School, Drury's sister school in Durgapur, India, where you can complete your student teaching experience
- Help children and families through Drury University Children's Center for the Visually Impaired and learn about accessible classroom technology
- Join Drury Student Teacher Association (DSTA) and mentor Hispanic students in English as a Second Language classrooms
