This website provides a platform for college students to share their voice. 90% of the content is student generated content, where contributing writers from college across the country and collegiate correspondents share their thoughts on news & current events from their perspective, about topics that are important and relevant to them. Students writing for www.usatodaycollege.com are either contributing writers or Collegiate Correspondents. It also houses all the additional Collegiate Readership Academic Resources such as Case Studies that go along with the Collegiate Readership Program – located under Readership Program on the top toolbar. Collegiate Correspondent Program is one of the nation’s premier journalism opportunities for undergraduate students. Relevant writing experience combines with professional training and advice from seasoned journalists. Correspondent writing is the backbone of the USA TODAY COLLEGE. Participants in the program have had their work published in USA TODAY’s print edition as well as outlets across Gannett. They offer Spring, Fall and Summer versions of the program. Please feel free to take advantage of these opportunities.

Drury University strongly recommends Renters Insurance for all students. Renters Insurance provides valuable protection if your personal belongings are stolen or damaged, including laptops, computers, smart phones, bicycles, game consoles, textbooks, clothing and other personal items. If your laptop or other personal belongings are stolen, YOU are responsible for replacing them, not the University. With our recommended Renters Insurance plan, any personal items that are stolen or damaged can be replaced at a full cost subject to a $100 deductible. Renters Insurance also protects you financially for unintentional damage to your University Housing or bodily injury for which you are liable.
As a University housing resident, we strongly advise that you consider enrolling in Renters Insurance from Sallie Mae (www.collegerentersplan.com/drury) or National Student Services, INC. (www.nssi.com). Both offer affordable renter's insurance policies tailored to college students with low deductibles. Go to the websites listed or stop by the Residence Life Office in FSC 108 for more information.
