Associate of Science in Fine Arts Program

The College of Continuing Professional Studies offers an associate of science degree in fine arts. The program consists of courses designed to develop appreciation and skill in the fine arts, and lead to increased understanding of their contribution to the cultural life of society.

Associate of Science in Fine Arts Curriculum

In addition to general education requirements, students pursuing the associate of science degree in fine arts are required to complete the following 21 hours of coursework:

ARTZ 111: Foundations of Design (3 hours)
ARTZ 123: Drawing (3 hours)
ARTH 151: History of Art & Architecture I (3 hours)
ARTH 152: History of Art & Architecture II (3 hours)
ARTH 230: Painting I (3 hours)

ARTH 260: Photography I (3 hours)

Choose one 200-Level ARTZ elective (3 hours)
