Dr. Rebecca Burrell Honored

Excellence in Education Award

Dr. Rebecca Burrell was recently honored at the Delta State Convention of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International in Independence, Mo., with the Excellence in Education Award.

Burrell received the award along with thirteen other Missouri educators in recognition of outstanding contributions made by women to the field of education during the past year.

One focus of the commendation included the upcoming tenth year for our summer graduate course, Building Community through the Arts in partnership with the Missouri Hotel.
